Ultra rare find..... $16.00 pair SALE! $14.00 pair Item #or868, Exquisite & Rare Men's 1940s Leafy Print Rayon Robe Ravishing and rare men's textured rayon robe in a gorgeous autumnal leaf print on a dark grass green background Ca. 1940s, 'Style Craft Robe' label This is a substantial rayon robe - not like the limp, silky rayon robes of today; has all the details too from graduated lapels to a 3 pocket front (one on the left chest, two rounded slanted patch pockets - one on each hip) All pockets have the flapover top. Rounded cuffs. Robe is unlined and has the matching belt; French (double) seaming. Measures an approx size M/L - up to 40" chest (belted), 20" straight across shoulders, 36" waist (belted), 45" total length from shoulder to hemline, arm length is 31" from midneck to cuff edge. In excellent condition with no holes, stains, fade, etc.; there is a small amount of discoloration/age yellowing inside the neckline (very common in rayon that is 60 years old and was worn!), there is a 3" repair to the edge of the belt, as well as a bit of age darkening to the underside of the cuffs. That is all - very wearable, very sturdy, very clean with crisp, bright colors. So much prettier than our photos show. Gorgeous, one-of-a-kind gift for that vintage lover!
