Ca. 1940s or 50s - not marked, no tags, appears to be WWII or Korean war era Olive drab cotton canvas, has pretreated rope ties at neck; flat based bottom makes it perfect for storage, laundry, etc. Measures 18" wide (lying flat) by 30" long from top to bottom In excellent condition for its' age; normal age/wear fade throughout - is very even khaki green. Item #sp016, Rare Korean War Era (?) US Navy Waterproof Deck Jacket A rare find for us, this is a rubberized, waterproof, authentic US Navy pullover deck jacket in drab olive green Ca. Korean War or Vietnam War era - this was a hard one for us to date since we rarely see them Lace up front has matching green laces; adjustable cuff 'belt' with button (green plastic) at each cuff. Vented with holes under each arm and has a hood Slightly crisp as the interior has that rubbery feeling; jacket is unlined. Adjustable tie waist as well. Tag inside is white cotton and reads 'Navy Department Contract NX sx 38530. There is also a stamped number inside on one seam area. In very good condition considering it is Navy issued and has been worn; USN is stamped on the left chest. A few dark areas t hroughout and could use a washing or cleaning as it is dusty, however no holes or major stains. Very wearable! Measures approx size men's M - 40" chest, 19" straight across shoulders, 26" total length from shoulder to hemline. $32.00
